Die Taylor 224ce-K DLX ist eine Grand Auditorium, deren Klangkorpus komplett aus hawaiianischem Koa besteht. Wer den glanzvollen, mittten- und höhenreichen Sound sucht, für den Koa bekannt ist, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Trotzdem schafft es Taylor, die 224ce-K DLX angenhem warm klingen zu lassen. Ausgestattet mit einem Venezianischen Cutaway, lässt sich der äußerst geschmeidige Hals bis in die höchsten Bünde wunderbar leicht greifen. Die edle Lackierung in Hochglanz hebt die umwerfende und immer individuelle Maserung des Koa-Holzes perfekt hervor. Solid-top tone in many variations.
The guitars of the 200 Series are equipped with solid Sitka Spruce tops (except for the 224ce-K DLX with Koa top), producing a clear, resonant acoustic tone with ample projection to play alongside other musicians and in front of audiences. Taylor offers the choice of back and sides made of Rosewood, Maple, or Koa.

Expression System 2
All steel-string models in the 200 Series are equipped with Taylor's ES2 pickup and preamp, providing an authentic amplified sound. Nylon-string models come with the ES-N pickup, specifically designed for a snappy nylon-string tone.
Three visual style families.
Standard features include a satin finish, 4mm dot inlays, white binding, and a three-ring rosette. The Plus models come with a high-gloss finish with black binding, while the Deluxe models are equipped with small diamond fretboard inlays and polished bronze tuners. Alternatively, opt for a striking full-color look in black or red.

The 200 Series houses two 12-string models: the Grand Auditorium 254ce and the Dreadnought 250ce-BLK DLX. Players in search of a snappy nylon string sound will appreciate the 214ce-N, which features a 1-7/8" neck for comfortable fingerstyle play.
Case or gig bag included with every model.
Each guitar in the 200 Series comes with a gig bag or case. The standard models come with a padded gig bag, while the Plus models include Taylor's lightweight, highly durable AeroCase. The Deluxe models come with brown hardshell cases.
